A foundational training for personal healing, intuition building, and lineage-based Reiki practice

Rooted in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage, this First Degree Reiki Certification introduces you to the original system of natural healing. This in-person training includes attunements, hands-on practice, energy education, and grounding techniques that enable you to confidently use Reiki for self-healing and to support others.

You’ll leave certified in Reiki First Degree (Level I) with the skills to begin your personal or professional Reiki journey — plus access to ongoing community support and practitioner circles.

Your Level I training is led by traditional Reiki Master, Christopher Tellez

Christopher Tellez is a traditional Reiki Master and owner of SF Reiki Center, with over 15 years of Reiki practice. Trained in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage, he completed a rigorous two-year Master Apprenticeship with more than 2,000 client sessions, upholding the standards established by Hawayo Takata.

Christopher is also a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s degree from Columbia University, bringing decades of trauma-informed therapeutic expertise to his Reiki teaching and practice. His work is recognized for its depth, integrity, and contribution to the growth of Reiki communities across North America.

Practitioner Support

A dedicated space for certified Reiki practitioners to exchange treatments, refine their skills, and stay connected in community. Because Reiki practitioners need support, too.

If you are trained in Reiki Level I or higher, complete the brief form to receive invitations to upcoming gatherings and share your interests, including volunteering and event collaboration opportunities.

Exchanges are typically held the 1st Sunday of each month at our El Segundo location, serving the Los Angeles Reiki community.

Accessible Care

Accessible, professional Reiki sessions offered on a sliding scale to support stress relief, grounding, and energetic balance. Because cost should never be a barrier to care.

Choose your rate based on current capacity — $50–$75.

Clinics are held the 1st and last Tuesdays of each month in El Segundo, serving the greater Los Angeles community.
